includes a $500 tuition/fee scholarship to institution of higher education in Oklahoma and a one year membership to the National Association for the Education of Young Children, Southern Early Childhood Association and the Early Childhood Association of Oklahoma.

-      Must be employed in the field at least ten years in the area of early childhood or family services and have a desire to complete an academic degree to improve the status of your career;

-      Must be a major in early childhood, child development, family services, parent education, early intervention or related field;

-      Must be a resident of Oklahoma; and

-      Must be enrolled in an Oklahoma institution of higher education.

 

-      Complete the application;

-      Write an essay (minimum of 500 words) describing professional goals;

-      Present documentation of residency in Oklahoma;

-      Present enrollment information from the school you are attending; and

-      Submit three letters of recommendation indicating commitment to the profession; financial need status, and performance as a student. Letters must be from the employer, a former/current professor, and one personal reference.
