CALL FOR PRESENTATION PROPOSALS
Deadline for Submission: April 30,  2008

ECAO Annual Conference:

Friday and Saturday, July 25 & 26, 2008, Science Museum Oklahoma (formerly Omniplex)

Please read through the following information prior to submitting your proposal. Participants at ECAO’s Annual Conference will deepen their understanding of the expanding early childhood knowledge base and develop skills that improve their professional preparation and practice.  It is open to all people who work with young children and their families, birth to age 8.

This year’s conference theme is “Play: Discovering, Exploring, Learning.” Play is essential to development because it contributes to the cognitive, physical, social and emotional well-being of children. Through play, children can learn, express feelings and discover their world.  This conference will be a time to reflect on the research related to play, gain ideas to plan for play, and learn how to utilize play as teachers, child care providers, early interventionists, child development specialists, parent educators and other professionals in our field.
