This report is a first of its kind applying the 2007 National Survey Data on Child Health with an exclusive focus on American Indian and Alaska Native Children.
Child health indicators and data are presented with an attempt to mirror the Indian Health Service Areas and where sufficient, state level data was also made available. See the Table of Contents on page 3 which outline indicators that address the Child Health Status, Child Health Care, School and Activities; The Child’s Family and lastly the Child and Family’s Neighborhood Indicators, Child and Family Indicators, Neighborhood. Special thanks to the many professionals who saw this project through to completion and it’s posting on the HRSA website.
